THE BEGINNING
W & G Industries Pty Ltd, trading as Koala Nails began operations in 1981 as a common nail manufacturer and wholesale distributor. The founder, current owner and CEO had considerable knowledge of nail manufacturing and marketing of nails from his employment with BHP for many years prior to opening his small manufacturing facility in Botany Sydney. Koala still maintains its common (loose) nail manufacturing plant in Sydney. |

THE LONG ROAD
The company has come a long way since it started in 1981. In 1996 the current General manager joined Koala adding extensive experience to the management team and we have extended our range of products considerably over recent years. Collated screws, loose screws, Framing Nails, Gas Fuel Cells with and without framing nails, Coil Nails both plastic and wire collated, collated brads, collated staples, pneumatic air nailers & staplers and Nylon Nail-it plugs. |
