NAIL SHANK TYPES

Smooth
Smooth shank nails (usally glue coated) provide good holding power in most wood applications.


Ring
Ring shank nails have an excelent holding power and are very effective in woods with a high moisture content.

Screw
Screw shank nails also have an excelent holding power and are particulary suited to hardwood applications.
